Program overview

Australia’s AI industry, inside the building where the rules get written.

The Inaugural Australian AI Parliamentary Showcase brings together companies, innovators, researchers, industry leaders and policy stakeholders to demonstrate Australia’s growing artificial intelligence capabilities.

The exhibition program gives participating organisations strong brand recognition, a prominent presence at Parliament House, and the chance to show their technology, expertise and Australian capabilities to parliamentarians, government decision makers and senior industry stakeholders.

It is deliberately not a trade show. The value is proximity: the people building and deploying AI in the same room as the people who will design, scrutinise, vote on and implement Australia’s AI policy.

Why take part

Policy is being written now, not later

Australia is entering a defining period for AI policy, regulation, adoption and investment. Decisions taken in Canberra over the next few years will shape how AI is developed, deployed and governed here, and which Australian companies are part of that future.

Organisations that engage now can help decision makers understand the technology, the opportunities, what implementation actually involves and what follows from getting the settings wrong. The alternative is responding to policy after it has been drafted.

  • DemonstrateShow your technology and capabilities inside Parliament House, in front of the people who will regulate it.
  • Be heardPut your people and your expertise in front of parliamentarians, advisers and senior officials.
  • Set the agendaRaise the issues, opportunities and policy settings that matter to your organisation and to the sector.
  • Build standingEarn recognition as a serious contributor to Australia’s AI ecosystem.
  • Start relationshipsMeet the people who will be central to Australia’s approach to AI in the years ahead.
